About
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on August 16, 1971, Kimberly Badinger, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Her life changed forever in 2015 when she lost her 20-year-old son, Kameron, to an opioid overdose. At the time, they were both battling addiction, but she had just reached one year of sobriety and remarkably stayed sober in his honor. Grief continued to shape her journey, losing her best friend in 2020 to the same struggle, and both parents in 2023 just five weeks apart to lung and pancreatic cancer. Days after her mother’s funeral, she was laid off. Determined to turn pain into purpose, she founded Grieving Gracefully to help others navigate loss, addiction, and healing. She also co-founded Iceman Cooling & Heating with her longtime boyfriend. Through storytelling and advocacy, she shares her journey, proving that while grief never truly fades, it does evolve.
