About
I’ve done a little bit of a lot of things LOL Beginning as a cashier/chicken fryer connoisseur for a small family owned grocery store as a teen in the mid 1980’s. Waitressing at the local seafood restaurant while attending college. 1994, I received my Bachelor’s degree, got married, had my first child and began my first year of the nineteen years I was as a middle school science teacher all within a 10 month period. 2010 and 16 years later, I find myself not teaching, divorced, now a mother of a dead child from addiction & the opioid/fentanyl epidemic, devastated by the loss of my absolute sister from another mister best friend a couple of years later from an overdose and now 2023 the loss of both my parents within five weeks of each other unexpectedly from two different types of cancer.
I traveled to Nice, France at age 19 where my brother was teaching at a local university and I was hooked on adventures’ making the most memorable memories with my “bubba”, mother, aunts and granny that make me crack up belly and cheeks hurting laughing still today! Priceless $8.00 eclair I split with my aunt Barbie and a $3.00 hot can of coke in 1990!! That was high but it was the French Rivera! Traveled to and lived briefly in Berkeley, CA taking the BART into San Francisco every night exploring fisherman’s wharf and China Town to begin. One of my top scariest moments in life was being driven by a girl I just met down the infamous “Crookedest street in the world” Lombard Street, San Francisco.
I’ve just returned from my second cruise in 12 months and just booked another one for Christmas 2024. I can’t do the holidays at home 🏡 😢 I custom designed an itinerary last March for myself and my partner flying to San Diego then driving in a rental sports car to the perfect house literally staying next door to Joshua Tree National Park and experiencing one of the best night skies on Earth observing part of our solar system’s galaxy the Milky Way! The next morning had coffee with the park rangers who identified in pictures I previously sent to them areas where my son was in the park when the photo was shot two weeks before his death. It was epic and beauty beyond belief. Hopped in the rental car and cruised through the Mohave desert arriving in Las Vegas just in time to freshen up and dress up to attend Usher’s My Way VIP Package residency with AMAZING seats and crowd vibe all around.! VIP package included entrance into the After Party as well as drink tickets, VIP access pass lanyard and Usher memorabilia. Sleeping in on Sunday we were well rested for our 5 pm reservations at Best Friends restaurant before seeing the Jabawookees Vegas Show with meet and greets too! We got the best goody bag from them and selfies! Flew home! That’s been my favorite trip of a lifetime so far but I’m not done yet!
